Procolour Dyes and Silk Painting Products
a. Procolour sells the following silk painting dyes: Steamfix Dyes: fixed by steaming Heatfix Dyes: fixed by dry heat e.g., hand iron Selffix Dyes: fix on contact with silk at room temperature To give new customers a brief overview of these dyes, each dye is listed across the top of the table below and evaluated or scored (out of 10) for the various functions listed down the left hand side of the table.

This range of powder dyes is also used to make liquid Steamfix and
liquid Heatfix dyes.
c. To minimise freight costs for overseas customers Procolour has de-
vised a new lightweight dye form: Dye concentrate. Everything
needed to make up liquid dye comes in a single concentrate sachet.
d. Procolour also sells its own unique water-based gutta resist system
for silk painting called: Resistad
